Was comissioned by Systemic Logic to do three paintings using orange for the hills rather than red. I really got excited the way things worked - guess its how I get my kicks! One of the other paintings was quite large - 1.5mx1.2m with a number of hills. Could be an interesting direction.
Child Welfare approached a number of artists, sports celebrities and media personalities to create doors which will be auctioned off. I choose the theme of ‘Hope’ on the one side and ‘Ubuntu’ on the other. A fun project and a great way to help the community.
Have been working on three paintings for a comission for a UK client. The one painting is 3.5m long, making it the biggest sheep painting I’ve ever done. (The other is deeper but only 3m long.) This beautiful old Dodge truck arrived to collect them. No sooner where they loaded than the heavens opened and the rain came tipping down. I called later and the paintings had arrived safely!

Minister of Education WC Donald Grant received a sheep painting when he visited my child’s school:
” However, we too would also like to thank you for the warm and friendly welcome on Friday and for the lunch and the generous gift of the Ann Gadd painting. (Ann Gadd is my favourite artist!)
It is now sitting proudly in the Minister’s office.

The Bloudonki Gallery in colaboration with Johan Smit’s gallery, (both in Clarens), hosted Ann for the weekend for the opening of their Woman’s Day exhibition. A huge amount of effort went into the organisation. The surrounding trees were wrapped in red and the food and drinks designed to colour co-ordiante with the sheep paintings. A large crowd attented the opening, while Ann enjoyed being wined and dined by the gallery managers.
